Amlactin Alpha hydroxy therapy daily is a go to moisturizer for anyone looking for mild exfoliation and hydration in one. Over the years, I have used Amlactin lotion whenever I had my KP flair ups on my back. Generally it works gradually to smoothen the skin, helps slightly with hyperpigmentation especially during the summer and moisturizes my skin. P.S if you have any hang ups with parabens, this is not the product for you. A great paraben free , effective option and my personal favorite is DCL High potency body lotion.

PRO
Affordable: its found in the drug store so its really reasonable priced compared to other moisturizers formulated with Lactic acid I have used in the past.
Gradually reduce KP on my skin(keratosis pilaris)
Left my skin moisturized without leaving a greasy residue, which makes it a good moisturizer to use doing summer/warm temperatures but please remember to use your SPF. It can be used during the winter/harmattan season but if you are exceptionally dry you may want to layer an oil or more moisturizing lotion.
CON
My only critique would be this product was much slower with soothing my KP compared to my previous DCL high potency body lotion. With DCL I saw a noticeable difference in days with my KP while with the Amlactin, It took a few weeks. It is important to note that DCL does have additional antioxidants in the formula and the percentage of lactic acid isn't disclosed so it could be more or less.
