By Wishtrend is on of my favorite K beauty brand; I absolutely love their Pure vitamin C serum and the Natural Vitamin Enhancing sheet mask which is my weekly obsession( if your interested in trying it out we its available at the Krème showroom) . Sometime in November, I was sent the Green tea and enzyme powder in exchange for my honest review. I jumped at the opportunity for two reasons; first I live and love the benefits of green tea. My day always starts with a nice cup of decaffeinated hot green tea; its benefits are amazing. The final reason , it By Wishtrend. I started testing on and off for the past three months and below is my review.

BY WISHTREND GREEN TEA &ENZYME POWDER WASH (CLAIM)
Green tea and enzyme powder with a green tea latte scent. It consist of coconut derived surfactant, baking powder and papain. It controls blackheads while hydrating without pulling the skin.

INGREDIENTS
Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Powder, Lysine HCL, Proline, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Acetyl Methionine, Theanine, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Sorbitol, Papain, Betaine, Cellulose Gum, Citric Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
GREEN TEA POWDER: a powerful antioxidant. It has anti-inflammatory, and a stimulant. When applied, topically it can reduce skin swelling.
SODIUM BICARBONATE : an inorganic salt used as a buffering agent snd a PH adjuster, it also serves as a neutralizer.
PAPIN : an enzyme able to dissolve keratin

HOW TO USE IT
ONCE A WEEK
I used it once a week as an exfoliant

HOW LONG DID I TEST THE PRODUCT
I received this in November 2017 used it about four times

WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE?
Delicious green tea scent, love it!

TEXTURE
A powder that foams up when it interacts with water

SKIN TYPE
Extremely oily /tough skin

    The presence of green tea is a huge plus. It’s a fantastic antioxidant that fights swelling both internally and externally.
    I love using enzymes to exfoliate my skin , it is gentle but through exfoliation.

  • CON

  • Sodium bicarbonate being the first and active ingredient
    Unfortunately it broke me out
    It left my skin a little dry and I suspect it was the sodium bicarbonate.

  • It was a little harsh for my sensitive skin.


 

In conclusion, this is the first By Wishtrend product that didn't work for me no matter how I tested. Anyways on to my next Wishtrend product , do you have any suggestions?
