That said, the last quarter of 2017 By Wishtrend launched the Mandelic acid 5% skin prep water and it got a lot of buzz on social media. The minute I saw it my antennas went up and as usual I had to have it. Now, it definitely isn't close to professional grade but it ticked all the necessary boxes and I quite enjoyed my experience with it.

Pro
- Its very , very mild toner. Its gentle enough for sensitive skin types
- This skin prep toner left my skin mildly exfoliated with continuous use so if you looking for a product that would give you a gentle skin rejuvenation this is your guy.
- Skin was not irritated at all throughout the testing process.
- I had a couple hormonal breakouts and this product reduced the discomfort and swelling almost immediately. Two thumbs up!!
CON
- On the pack of this product, it claimed to target uneven skin tone. While this is definitely a benefit of using mandelic acid, I think it may be a tad bit misleading to the consumer state that on the pack. Yes over time, it can add to improvement of uneven texture but not in a day or a couple of weeks. And for certain pigmentation issues you may need a lower ph or combination therapy. Bottom line, it's a good toner just don't expect a miracle.
