Coola Suncare launched in 2007 by Chris Birchby. Both of his parents were diagnosed with melanoma and it altered his life course. Fortunately the recovered but it impacted him and was a major reason he decided to create a suncare line. The unique selling point of this line is its use of organic ingredients in its product line. Coola makes great strives to create products that are “ farm to face" as often as possible. Using 70% or more organic ingredient in most of their product offering. As a startup , they sold in boutique spas and now thus brand has expanded into retail stores like Sephora. I came across this brand years ago in a spa I worked in. It had just launched and everyone was so excited about using this buzzed about organic line and it didn't disappoint. Fast forward to early this year, I was so pleased to see it on the shelves of Sephora. It is great to test out new products but its even better when you rediscover a classic. COOLA FACE SPF 30 UNSCENTED MOISTURIZER (CLAIM) An a non greasy SPF designed for all skin types. It is formulated with 70% + certified organic ingredients which individually bring benefits to the skin. On days that I neex extra hydration, I layer it over my hydrating moisturizer. On other days, I apply it after the treatment step in place of a moisturizer. HOW LONG DID I TEST THE PRODUCT? I used the product in spa and on myself years ago. I recently rediscovered it in January 2018.
