Either way, COSRX Ultimate nourishing rice overnight mask is my latest sleeping mask obsession that ticks all the above mentioned boxes

Enriched with more than 65% of rice extract , this mask provides intensive nourishment with deep moisture and brightening.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
ORYZA SATIVA (RICE EXTRACT): It is an emollient and usually used in combination skincare products . It has antioxidant properties and very soothing.
GLYCERIN: humectant used in moisturizer. It is water binding and able to draw water from the air, thus helping the skin retain moisture.
SUNFLOWER SEED OIL: commonly used as a carrier oil. It soothes and smoothens the skin it is also considered non comedogenic.
NIACINAMIDE: it enhances the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flakiness and enhancing suppleness. It has a lot of benefits like improving the appearance of uneven skin tone, dullness , and enlarged pores on the skin.

HOW TO USE IT
I double cleanse, tone, apply essence , treatment serums ,eye cream and finally massage a generous amount of overnight sleeping mask . In the AM , I cleanse once with a face cloth and proceed with the rest of my morning routine .

There mask is packed in a regular screw on jar . Unlike the COSRX HYLARONIC ACID INTENSIVE CREAM (click here for review) This package didn’t come with a spatula to scoop the product out; you have to use your fingers. I would have preferred it in a squeezable tube or a spatula should have been inserted to maintain the efficacy and reduce any chance of contamination

It does not sting , burn or irritate your skin on application
Most of the product absorbs into your skin almost as soon as you apply it
It is not tacky or sticky
Your pillow is not a mess when you wake up.
It doesn’t have a strong scent so it would not bother you or your partner at night
When I wake up my skin looks brighter and looks like I got a hydrating facial while fast asleep
The more I used it , my skin looked my even toned and brighter
No acne or negative reaction while testing this mask
CONS
PACKAGING, PACKAGING ,PACKAGING! I just wished it was in a air tight container or an alternative to maintain to keep content fresh .
I love this formulation despite the package, I would recommend this as a supplement to anyone treating hyperpigmentation or has uneven skin tone and for brides or anyone with an event where all eyes would be on them.
