CURRENT AM ROUTINE MAY/JUNE 2017

Life has been crazy this past month, lots of moving parts but regardless of how stressful it’s been I try to maintain my skincare routine. Now, I did take a couple steps off, just because sometimes I literally had to dash out the house but the basic/foundation was still intact so I guess you can call this my AM routine /6 step routine (instead of 10 step routine).
CLEANSE
GREEN CLEAN MAKEUP MELTAWAY CLEANSING BALM BY FARMACY
A nourishing cleansing balm that erases makeup and gently lifts away impurities caused by pollution, it leaves your skin silky smooth and hydrated.

It’s official! I found new love. I am usually very hesitant about cleansing balms. The cleansing balm I have reviewed in the past, l has used for years so I thought it was about time I live on the edge and try something new and boy am I pleased. It is chum full of anti-oxidants, it doesn't strip my skin and I love the results so much that I use it sometimes as my one cleanse in the A.M. I will give more details at a later time but so far, this product gets an A from me.

I have been really lucky with cleansers these past six weeks, this s is another gold star cleanser. I must be honest, when I first bought this in March I didn't quite get it so I left it to the side. After my horrible experience with Neutrogena hydro boost cleansing gel, I went through my back up skincare closet and decided to give this a try. It’s a great cleanser, mild and effective. I will save the details for a more in-depth review but so far two thumbs up.
TONE
BE THE SKIN PURIFYING WHITE WATERFUL TONER
It balances skins ph. Level after cleansing. It has antioxidants that help brighten will complexion and skin that has been stress due to environmental factors.

Verdict
This toner gets a not too sure from me. I really would like to give it a couple weeks before a draw any conclusions but so far it a hmmmm
TREATMENT
EXFOLIATION
DR JART DERMACLEAR MICRO MILK PEEL Micro home peeling treatment. This product was inspired by milk peels done in clinics. Dr Jar decided to develop a peel that gently exfoliates the skin, deeply cleanse the pores with peeling complex. Verdict
I usually use this at night but with my schedule these past week I just want to pass out once the kids go to bed so I never get my weekly exfoliation done. MASK

Verdict
My skin was very irritated the past two weeks because of several factors within my control that I didn't do. In addition to changing my lifestyle choices, I added this mask. Now I know it says overnight on the pack and yes this is an AM routine but I decided to use it in the AM on days that was at home. It just called my skin down without being overly oily or messy. I was impressed with this moisturizer from the day I popped into Sephora for a “quick” window shopping therapy session and the assistant applied it on the back of my hand. It feels like water on your skin, no joke. Details coming soon in a full review

Verdict
Last but not least, I always apply SPF on the days I am indoors or out. It’s just a must and this sun gel is a must have for everyone. It’s simply amazing, full stop. For re view click here.
