There are very few Vitamin C body lotions out on the market. Products that are effective are either really expensive for a couple pumps or are affordable with zero results. Emerginc body lotion is the perfect cross between an effective, affordable body lotion that gradually brightens and even out hyperpigmentation on your skin without the use of harsh chemicals.

An active body lotion designed to smooth skin, even tone and texture, as well as hydrate and nourish the skin.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
HEMP SEED OIL: it is retrieved from hemp seeds. It is rich in omega 6 to omega 3 fatty acids which prevents dryness and roughness of the skin.
AVOCADO OIL :it is soothing particularly for sensitive skin. There is some research indicating that avocado oil may mobilize and increase the collagen of connective tissue. This keeps the skin smooth and help treatment of minor skin conditions.
ARGAN OIL "it is an emollient and it conditions the skin. It also protects and moisturizes the skin.
LICORICE EXTRACT it has a lightening effect as well as an inhibitory effect on melanin synthesis. It is described to be more effective than Kojic acid and 75 times more effective than ascorbic acid.
VITAMIN C :ascorbic acid and its derivatives are said to have skin lightening and antioxidant properties. It is the antioxidant that helps protect the body from many forms of oxidation and from problems involving free radicals.
HYALURONIC ACID: it has the ability to retain moisture, so it attracts moisture to your skin.
CERAMIDES: the outermost layer of the skin has an abundance of ceramides. They prevent water loss from the skin that leads to dryness; keeping skin plump and soft. Unfortunately, ceramides decline as we age, and the use of harsh skin products on our skin can also affect the ceramides on our skin leading to dry skin. Consequently, manufacturers include ceramides in skincare products to help restore the skins barrier.

I use it AM and PM. I take a shower and pat dry my skin and massage the lotion on my damp skin

The first time I tried this lotion was 2013 then I bought my current tube February 2016

There is room for improvement in this category. The lotion comes in a squeezable, white tube with a screw on cap. I wish it was in a pump that way the product stays fresh longer.

CONCLUSION
PROS
1 This lotion is very moisturizing. I love the way it feels on my skin.
2 Not too heavy on your skin so it can be applied AM or PM without the added concern of perspiration
3 it gradually evens out uneven skin tone without harsh chemicals
4 it is not greasy or oily
5 it does not break me out
6 Great for keratosis pilaris (a condition that causes rough patches and small, acne-like bumps on the skin.)
7 A little goes a long way. I have had this tube for 10 months. (it is worth mentioning that I TEST other body products so this would probably last about 6months if used regularly)
8 Keeps my skin even toned and brighter. It helped cleared hyperpigmentation I had on my shoulder.
CONS
It gives a tingling sensation on application. This is because of all the natural acids infused in the lotion. To be completely honest, it is really manageable and goes away pretty quickly but I felt it was worth mentioning.
This is a great product for people of colour, in all seasons who either want to brighten their skin or even out preexisting hyperpigmentation or sun damage.
