Having a baby is one of the most exciting times in any mother’s life and it is also the most overwhelming when it comes to buying the right products for your baby.  I had my first daughter 2 years ago, and like any first time mum I wanted to buy the best of everything for my baby. When it came to skin care products, I knew there was a high probability that my baby would have sensitive skin because I have sensitive skin so I did my research and bought the whole range of noodle and boo baby bath products. The company claimed it was hypoallergenic and mild enough for the most sensitive skin and it smelled so delicious so I was pretty confident that it would be perfect for my baby.  When she arrived, she quickly started showing signs of food allergies which also showed up as hives and redness on her skin. I continued using the product for about 3 months but the bumps on her skin were not getting better and every time after her bath, she seemed more irritated.  One day, I walked into Walgreens on one of my errands, as I walked down the baby aisle I found Eucerin baby cleansing relief body wash so decided to give it a shot and I am glad I did. In less than a week, the redness on her skin had diminished and she was more relaxed after every bath. For my second child, I have used Eucerin cleansing body wash from day one and it works well on her skin.

WHAT IS EUCERIN BABY CLEANSING RELIEF BODY WASH

It’s a gentle, soap free, fragrance free and dye free body wash for babies.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

PANTHENOL (PRO VITAMIN B5)- Acts as a penetrating moisturizer.  It imparts a non irritant, non sensitizing, moisturizing, and conditioning feel and promotes wound healing. Panthenol protects the skin against sunburn, provides relief of existing sunburn.

Apply two pumps of cleansing gel on wet sponge and rub over skin then rinse

I like the packaging, it’s easy to pack and can be stored pretty much anywhere.  I especially like the fact that its spill proof. I have packed it on several long distance trips and it has never spilled.

CONCLUSION

Pro:

It is gentle on my baby’s skin

It doesn’t dry their skin out

It soothes my daughter's skin when she has a skin reaction

It is economical; I use it on both my infant and toddler

A little goes a long way

Great for skin allergies , baby acne and heat rashes

Cons:

Eucerin cleansing relief body wash is a very common drugstore product but for some reason this product is not sold in many stores. Whenever I come across it I always have to stock up.
