HOLY MOLY SHEET MASK BY COSRX

Its no secret by now that I am a fan of COSRX. The formulas and philosophy behind the brand is everything to me so I am always excited whenever I have the opportunity to try something new from their product line up. Early this year, I had seen their holy moly sheet mask and desperately wanted to try it but was testing other brands so had to push it out till the summer. When summer came around I bought four sheet masks in an attempt to boost hydration but I was left with no hydration boost and a broken heart.

INGREDIENTS
RED GINGSENG, SNAIL SECRETION, FILTRATE, METHYLPROPANEDIOL, ALLANTOIN, HYDROXYETHYL, ACRYLATE/SODIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYL TAURATE COPOLYMER, SODIUM POLYACRYLATE, SODIUM HYLURONATE, CARBOMER, ARGININE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, PHENOXYETHANOL

Active Ingredients
RED GINGSENG WATER: an antioxidant with anti-aging benefits. It has nutrients that help tone and brighten skin.
SNAIL SECRETION FILTRATE: packed to nutrients provide benefits like antiaging and hydration to the skin.

 

HOW TO USE IT
AM or PM
Cleanse skin thoroughly, apply toner and place sheet mask on your face.
HOW LONG DID I TEST THE PRODUCT?
I bought about four masks and I used them over a two-month period.
WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE?
No fragrance
TEXTURE
100 percent rayon. Rayon is not a synthetic fiber, made from wood pulp.

Unfortunately, no. I had high hopes but this mask fell a little short for me.

Size of the sheet mask: It is really small especially for us with a double forehead, I really had to struggle to get it to fit my face just right
Sheet mask material: I am not a fan of rayon. When I finally got the mask to fit my face the other struggle I had was getting it to stay put on my face. It kept moving about and just wouldn’t stay put for 10 mins.
Really Messy: Because the rayon sheet is really light it does absorb the product really well so a lot of the product ended up on my shirt which made my 10 mins. wait a little aggravating
Not very hydrating: I did not get a lot of hydration from this mask like I normally would with the by Wish trend natural vitamin C sheet mask or any of Dr Jart sheet mask.

This mask is not on sale on COSRX website currently but they are still sold by other vendors so hopefully this helps you make an informed decision. I personally did not like it but I would like to from anyone with a more positive experience. Thank you so much for all the support have a great week.
