WHAT IS A MOISTURIZER
Moisturizers are products formulated to add moisture to skin. Lotions, hydrates and creams are all referred to as moisturizers. These products are used twice a day after cleansing and treatments to nourish the skin. Moisturizers are available for various skin types and conditions, from acne prone skin to dry and mature skin.

OIL BASED MOISTURIZERS -they contain emollients and are heavier and occlusion, designed to protect the surface and trap water under the cream.
WATER BASED MOISTURIZERS -theses moisturizers are lighter preferably for oily and combination skin and absorbs quickly leaving little to no residue on your skin.
TREATMENT CREAMS – these also referred to as nourishing creams, they are designed to moisturize and condition the skin especially at night when tissue repair is taking place. Treatment cream are thicker than regular day moisturizer, they contain more emollient and active ingredients. Oily skin can use treatment creams formulated specifically for their skin types and they usually have very little or no emollient
MASSAGE CREAMS -Massage creams, lotions, or oils have a variety of bases and ingredients. These are designed to provide slip for massage while conditioning the skin.
HOW TO USE MOISTURIZERS
As mentioned above, moisturizers are used twice a day, at the end of your facial routine. After cleansing, toning and treatments, the appropriate type of moisturizer should be applied to the face. From the décolletage to your face, gently massage it into the skin until it is absorbed by skin.
