SALICYCLIC ACID DAILY GENTLE CLEANSER COSRX

I am a cleansing balm/oil/low pH cleanser kind of girl but towards the end of July (the peak of the summer) I decided to test out this product to help reduce the excess sebum I have during the hot summer months. Initially, I was concerned that it may be a little drying for my skin type but it was surprisingly gentle. COSRX recently changed the name of the cleanser from Salicyclic acid exfoliating cleanser to salicylic gentle cleanser ; and I think the new name is most befitting. 

 WHAT IS SALICYLIC ACID EXFOLIATING CLEANSER /SALICYLIC ACID DAILY GENTLE CLEANSER (CLAIM)

It’s a daily gentle cleanser that helps to reduce breakouts and promotes clear skin. It gently removes excess oil and impurities while fighting pimples and blemishes, without stripping your skin.

Active ingredients

SALICYLIC ACID 0.5%

Salicylic acid is an effective ingredient in acne products. Because it is lipid soluble, it can more easily reduce sebaceous follicle blockage by penetrating the pores and exfoliating the cellular buildup.

HOW TO USE IT

AM/PM

Apply a small pump of cleanser in your palm. Massage it gently into your skin. Remove with damp cloth.

HOW LONG DID I TEST THE PRODUCT?

WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE?

STRONG tea tree scent 

SKIN TYPE

Oily skin and congested skin (Grade 2)

NOT RECOMMENDED

Sensitive Skin, dry skin and anyone with aspirin allergy.

Nice, sleek packaging. I like the pearlescent  look of the tube.

REPURCHASE:

Yes, If I run out of my LOW PH GOOD MORNING GEL CLEANSER COSRX but better suited for extremely oily skin.

It did not irritate my skin.

It very thick and creamy so you don't need a lot of product.

It does not strip your skin

You get a lot of product for a great price

The tea tree oil is a bit strong consequently not appeal to everyone.
