Verdict
The brand LATHER was created by Emily Davidson Hoyt. From a very early age she suffered from severe migraine headaches that would temporarily affect her vision and speech. After receiving a lavender gift from her father that improved her condition, she was inspired to create a line of natural products to help others. Two years ago, in transit via Atlanta, I came across their store and decided to “window shop”. Well needless to say window shopping turned into shopping and I picked up a few scrub and body creams.
I use the pink grapefruit and ginger sugar scrub on and off since then and it leaves your skin moisturized but honestly does not do much exfoliating. The sugar granules are very little and dissolves almost immediately upon application so in order to feel any action you would have to use a lot of scrub. It’s not a terrible scrub, it actually has its place in my regime. For instance, I would use it during the fall/winter season because it contains a lot of oils that helps fight dryness. Another way to use it would be before using a lotion/cream with active ingredients. In conclusion, when it comes to LATHER scrubs, the Yuzu sugar cane body buff is still my favorite, it’s the perfect blend of moisture and exfoliation.

Verdict
It’s just been three weeks since I started using this product and I can tell you it’s awesome. I love the results, I love the texture and everything in between. The verdict is still out when it comes to brightening claim but it’s looming really good. I would like to give it a couple weeks before sharing a full review, so stay tuned.
